I have been tattooing since 1990. I custom design all of my own drawings. I conduct a one to two hour consultation with each of my clients in order for you to express yourself and your ideas to me, and for us to work together on discovering your tattoo. I then, quite often, draw, directly on the client, to find the image on your body. Once found, I retrace this image then redraw and refine the image on paper. After this process, the design that I create fits and flows perfectly with your body's natural curves.

Half of my tattoo work consists of bold black designs (tribal). Black work, to me, is a symbol or symbolic image. There are some black non-objective designs I do as well as symbols. I use the influence of animals, plants, and ocean to make up most of the symbols that I tattoo. Nature is the base of all of the symbols that I design and create. I feel and see visions for many of my clients. Some of my visions are anthropomorphic and I can capture these many layered images that I see in the tattoo that I create for you. These designs often have many images that can be seen simutaneously depending on how you look at them.

I started out as a surrealist artist highly influenced by the work of Salvadore Dali. I really like to tattoo strange, and very intense surreal images that are for the very bold and strange minded individuals. My surreal images are things that you and I have never seen before. It is really hard to draw the unseen and the unknown. I am full of passion for the images that I see. I encourage people to come to me for surreal tattoo work. I do some very dark images, like screaming faces, strange one eyed designs, and bio-organic images. I also do images of light. I am seeking the light through the darkness that I see. There is an endless world of strange ideas in my head.

The last focus is American Japanese style. I tattoo alot of sleeves, half sleeves and back pieces. I use dragons, foo dogs, koi, lots of different flowers with water falls and cloud backgrounds. I have alot of movement going on in my Japanese scenes. These images are a combination of bold color and soft shade with lots of skin still coming through the design. Alot of the Japanese images (symbols) are already set down for an artist. This gives me the freedom to play with placement, movement, depth, color theories, and some types of patterns.

I see myself as a guide for each of my clients. I am a non religious, spiritual artist, trying to draw the spirit, feelings, and dreams to grasp the subconsciouse and to put it onto your flesh. I love tattooing and hope your encounter with me will help you to see tattooing in a different light.
